Unique vitreous enamel and gold leaf pendant inspired by the shallow waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The variations of blue enamels depict the differnces in depth of colour of the shallow water. The gold leaf depicts the sunlight on the surface of the water.

Vitreous enamel on copper with gold leaf embedded into the enamel and silver chain. Chain options 16 or 18 inch.

About Sally Lees

Sally Lees is a jeweller based at Cockpit. She recently received funding from Arts Council England to explore vitreous enamelling, changing the direction of her practice from jewellery making to sculpture, and she has been working on a series of wall art and bowls inspired by the Mediterranean sea.
