Wood-fired over three days in a traditional Japanese kiln. Propped on top of shells during firing, the details from the shells are left imprinted in the body of the pot. This piece is made from a low-iron stoneware clay body with a light nuka glaze applied to one shoulder. The exposed clay reveals small areas of orange blushing from the flame.
