Low Density Red Cloud was one of the first Ball Cloud sculptures made in 2015 when the artist was working at Studio Manifold. The frothy red glaze surrounds the hollow sculptural form, creating an organic feel of harmony and tension. The artist visited the Museum of Mineralogy in Paris and was inspired by a round crystalline structure as well as the Clathrus Ruber fungus.
