Frothy red glaze surrounds the sculptural form, creating both harmony and tension. The artist visited the Museum of Mineralogy in Paris and was inspired by crystalline structures as well as the Clathrus ruber fungus. The pieces explore the overlooked details of micro-organic forms, presenting ideas around harmony and discourse, where fleeting cloud formations are fixed to represent the transient nature of life.

Grouping the works enhances contrasting themes, such as the appearance of softness in relation to hardness, heightening the sense of tension. The consideration of internal space recalls ceramic history, where vessels once provided water essential for human survival, and also references the body, where the void sustains life. These pieces serve as reminders of the precarious nature of existence during the darkest part of the season, with the promise of birth, hope, and goodwill.
