Row Pinto Knitwear Designs

Row Pinto is a Knitwear Designer based in London with a background in textile trend forecasting. Her designs were sold to international fashion houses including Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Nicole Farhi, Sonia Rykiel, and Cacharel. She started her company in 2004 with an aim to bring traditional British country knitwear to town with a new and eccentric twist.

Row designs and handcrafts knitted throws and cushions, a luxurious sleep and travel range including hot water bottles and eye masks, and a fashion accessories collection for men and women. Most pieces are knitted and handcrafted in her studio in London using vintage industrial hand powered knitting machines.

Colour is at the heart of all Row's designs. Her signature, unique and subtle stripes are characterised by beautiful palettes where she mixes, matches, and clashes colours to produce a collection that she hopes you will love. Dedicated to using the finest quality British yarns, particularly superfine Scottish lamb's wool and cashmere, her aim is to achieve an end product that feels as beautiful as it looks and draws on knitwear traditions passed down through the centuries.

Row's products have been stocked around the world including Liberty and Heals in London, ABC Carpet & Home in New York, Etro in Milan, and Globus stores throughout Switzerland. For many years she showed at Maison et Objet trade show in Paris and has been exhibited in Le Bon Marché, Paris and Hankyu department store in Osaka.

Row Pinto is proud to knit handcrafted pieces that she hopes will bring years of comfort and pleasure.
